Listen to This Haunting Orchestral Cover of The Weeknd’s ‘Wicked Games’ Featured in ‘Westworld’

If you tuned into the new Westworld episode on Sunday night (April 5), you might have heard a familiar melody.

Composer Ramin Djawadi created an elegantly haunting cover of The Weeknd’s “Wicked Games” for the series. In season three’s fourth episode, titled The Mother of Exiles, Ashley and Bernard crash an adults-only charity event, which leads to a bit of drama when Delores and Caleb also show up for the same reason — to find Liam.

The charity evening featured a string quartet playing the Trilogy single.

This isn’t the first time Djawadi has put an orchestral twist on fan-favorite songs for Westworld. He has also shared covers of The Rolling Stones’ “Paint It, Black” and Guns N’ Roses “Sweet Child O’ Mine.”
