Erykah Badu Will Help Teyana Taylor Give Birth to Her Second Child

Teyana Taylor, who is expecting her second child with Iman Shumpert, is planning for a home delivery–with help from midwife Erykah Badu.

“I’m considering home birth, and I’m actually going to be doing it with Erykah,” Taylor told Nick Cannon during his Power 106 show on Wednesday (June 24). “Her and Iman are going to deliver my baby. I’m [gonna] have her just sing her verse from ‘Lowkey’ to me to calm my nerves.”

She noted that she doesn’t want to have the baby in the hospital, assuring, “I’ll make sure it’s not on the toilet or the bathroom floor,” referring to her first child Junie’s arrival ahead of the due date.

Earlier this month, Taylor revealed her pregnancy by showing off  her baby bump in the romantic “Wake Up Love” visual, featuring her husband.

Javiera Mena’s Pride Playlist Includes Queer & Feminist Anthems Like ‘Espada’ & More

In celebration of Pride month and the release of her new song “Corazón Astral,” Chilean singer-songwriter Javiera Mena shares exclusively with Billboard her ultimate Pride playlist.

The electro pop artist’s playlist includes songs like “This Woman’s Work” by Kate Bush, Buscabulla’s “Club Tú Y Yo” and her personal queer anthem, “Espada.”

But before you check out her Pride playlist below, watch the 3D animated video for “Corazón Astral,” created by Spanish director Tomás Aciego alongside Slurpty and Boldtron. In the video, two Javiera avatars face each other representing the duality of Geminis: eros in the cosmos.

“It is a journey to search for feminine pleasure and all its hidden corners,” Mena said about the song. “This an exploration of women around their sexuality which is always connected to the cosmos.”

“Corazón Astral” is the second preview of her upcoming album.

Javiera Mena’s Pride playlist:

Javiera Mena, “Flashback”

My recent single, in which I talk about the present and future, and travel in time. I can’t wait to play this song live!

Kim Petras, “Wrong Turn”

I love the lyrics – they have an open interpretation.

Cariño, “Excusas”

A very melancholic and pretty song.

Buscabulla, “Club Tú y Yo”

I really love this song and the entire album! One of my favorite albums of the year.

Kate Bush, “This Woman’s Work”

This is a pioneering song that talks about a bad experience during a childbirth.

Javiera Mena, “Espada”

My QUEER anthem.

New Found Glory Talk Nostalgic & Romantic Inspiration Behind ‘Forever + Ever x Infinity’ Cover Art & More During Twitter Q&A

New Found Glory treated fans with special insights on the pop-punkers’ latest album Forever + Ever x Infinity from last Friday (June 19) during Billboard’s Twitter Q&A session today (June 25).

The band answered fans’ questions related to all things music, from which dead or alive act they’d love to collaborate with to their top three albums of all time. But lead vocalist Jordan Pundik spoke up about his favorite song on their tenth studio album.

“‘Same Side Sitters,'” Pundik replied in a video message. “I’m really enjoying that song, I love the way it came out, I love when the chorus hits. It just reminds me of those old school… vibes, cruising around the van, windows down, driving to some Elks Lodge in New Jersey.”

But the neon-colored Ferris wheel shot used as the album artwork evokes a different kind of memory for Pundik. “It comes from the nostalgia definitely. It just reminded us of like an old Promise Ring cover or like a Lifetime cover or something like that. But also because it’s such a fun record, we wanted to sort of encompass that with all the colors and being on a Ferris wheel or being on a roller coaster,” the 40-year-old artist explained. “One of my first dates was taking my now-wife to an amusement park, so that’s kind of where it all ties together.”

Watch Pentatonix Mash Up ‘Home’ Themed Songs Into a Quarantine Smash

Ever since the coronavirus pandemic began to spread, songs about going home, staying home and never leaving home feel more relevant than ever.

For that reason, Pentatonix created a brand new mash-up fittingly titled “Home.” The nearly three-minute mix features all the songs we never knew would become our quarantine anthems in 2020.

“My House” by Flo Rida, Madness’ “Our House,” Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home,” Sam Hunt’s “House Party,” “Home” by Michael Bublé and “I’m Going Home” by Chris Daughtry are among the tunes sung acapella by the five-piece group (virtually and, of course, at home).
